Do You What you Fear Most and you Conquer Your Fear

You’ll conquer your fear? Uh, not really. At least not for me.

I’ve been scared of heights most of my adult life. But I’m also a bit of a thrill seeker.

So a number of years ago when a friend offered a free gift certificate to go sky diving I jumped at the chance. (Wow, big apology, really bad pun.)

It was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever done. But also one of my proudest moments.

Now both of my sons have done it. Definitely some big-time dad type pride going on there.

Did it!

Facing our fears will always be accompanied by risk.Just the way it is. But there is such amazing fruit that comes when we do.

What’s the plane you need to jump out of right now? Go after a broken relationship? Get vulnerable and tell someone about the deep disappointment you’re going through? Share an opinion on Facebook you know won’t be popular?

Jump. Yes, there is great risk, but trust me, the rush that comes after is carries immense reward.
