We go live tomorrow (Friday October 18th) at 12 noon mountain time and go through Sunday night the 20th at midnight, mountain time.
How it Works
The hunt has 25 stops which give you exclusive content from all of the authors taking part. If you’ve just discovered the hunt here, you’ll probably want to start at Stop # 1 which you’ll find at Stop #1, found at LisaBergren.com (But you can start here on my blog as well if you choose to. Just make sure you hit stops 1 – 5 at some point.)
At each stop, you’ll collect one word which is at the bottom of each post. Once you have the completed phrase in order, register on the Rafflecopter form at Stop #26, found back at Lisa’s site.

Luella Flynn: Hay-o, all you Safe Lands readers out there. We’ve got a sweet treat for you today. The Owl is here, speaking with me in an exclusive interview.
Thank you for agreeing to meet with me today, Mr … Owl man? Mr. Owl? What should people call you?
The Owl: It’s just The Owl.
Luella Flynn: Great! Well, the people want to know who you are, trigger! Will you tell us?
The Owl: No.
Luella Flynn: *chuckles* Didn’t think so. Why an owl?
The Owl: Owls are solitary, watchful, intelligent. They’re cunning. And they have the ability to notice things, to see and hear better than most. They’re nocturnal, which is different from most birds. Owls are misunderstood.
Luella Flynn: Are you misunderstood? And I’m speaking to the man underneath the costume right now.
The Owl: Sometimes. But The Owl … is a messenger. I’m also a hunter.
Luella Flynn: And just who are you hunting?
The Owl: The truth. I’ll find it too. And when I do, I’ll deliver it to the people.
Luella Flynn: You think someone is lying to Safe Lands nationals, is that it?
The Owl: Of course. Lawten Renzor is lying. The Safe Lands Guild is lying. You’re lying too, Ms. Flynn.
Luella Flynn: Me? I’m on your side, trig. A reporter hunts for the truth as well, you know.
The Owl: Maybe you need hunting lessons.
Luella Flynn: I don’t think they teach those kinds of classes down at the Highland Civic Center. So, tell me how you keep interrupting my ColorCast. That’s kind of rude, don’t you think?
The Owl: This ColorCast is a tool for the Safe Lands Guild to tell lies. Nothing is filmed live. Everything is prerecorded and edited so you hear only what the Guild wants you to hear. The Owl speaks the truth. Truth brings freedom. Listen well.
Luella Flynn: Not everything is prerecorded—Hey! Where are you going? *sighs* Well, Safe Landers, The Owl has flown. He does tend to come and go as he pleases. Don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll manage to catch him again sometime. And if anyone can learn his true identity, it’s me. I’m Luella Flynn, and as always, find pleasure in life.
